Job Description

Senior Python Developer || Chennai & Mumbai

Experience: 5- 8 years IT with at least 4-5 years in Python

Job Description:

  • Build ETL processes to ingest, transform and save content obtained from multiple data

sources

  • Participate in stand-ups, design/requirements meetings, code reviews, and internal

technology sessions

  • Provide ideas for innovation in development, performance improvements, process

improvement and testing

  • Creates RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Writing scalable code using Python programming language.
  • Testing and debugging applications.
  • Developing back-end and front-end components.
  • Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic.
  • Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests.
  • Integrating data storage solutions and reprogramming existing databases to improve functionality.

Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks including Django, Tkinter and Flask.
  • A deep understanding and multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python.
  • Strong understanding of HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
  • Experience with any of the source control systems such as CSV, Git and Github (or similar).
  • Experience making REST and/or SOAP API web service calls with Python package requests (or similar).
  • Experience in RDBMS such as Sqlserver/ MySql / Oracle
  • Exposure to Unix/ Linux Operating Systems
  • Experience with SSO integrations; SAML, LDAP, JWT, OATH2, and Microsoft Active Directory services.
  • Experience in technical/system implementation project management experience, SDLC, BI, process improvement, change management with both operational and IT-type projects.
  • Experience with Search engines, such as Solr or Elastic search
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Data Engineering is an edge
  • Experience in BPO company/Freight Management/Logistics is an edge but not required.

 

Qualification: Technical Bachelor/ Master’s Degree
