Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Preparing, maintaining & submitting reports related to reconciliations, materials in & out from the department, mechanical & civil reports, supply transactions and so on to managementCoordinating with Accounts Department to ensure timely payment to suppliers and User Department for addressing day-to-day issue & purchase Monitoring invoices / billing / challans for the material of various sitesAddressing problems of sites on daily basis to update the correct data and discrepancies in requisitions, purchase orders & delivery reports by contacting vendors or requestersImplementing corrective actions to ensure efficient loading/unloading, storage and issuance of all goods and materialsSupervising categories (classes) of materials used in a construction siteApplying established material managing procedures and occupational hazards & safety precautions applicable to the workCreating requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, freight tags and so on; computerizing warehouse record keeping systemsAssessing employee performance through the review of completed work assignments & techniquesDirecting & controlling work activities of an agency or institution warehousePerforming inspection of items to ensure quality and quantity against freight documentsDetermining cost of each consignment for the landed cost of the material Planning items & quantities of stock to be purchased & maintainedEnsuring First In First out (FIFO) / Last In First Out (LIFO) for all products with efficient storage of materials and spare parts according to the quality measures and proceduresConducting perpetual physical verification of materials as per ABC analysisDesired Candidate Profile Any Graduate with 3-5 years in Material can be added advantage ERP / SAP good knowledge in store management
